What is CBD wax?

CBD wax is a CBD concentrate obtained by supercritical CO2 extraction from selected hemp flowers. The term "wax" describes the texture of the final product: opaque, slightly waxy, pliable at room temperature. At 66% CBD, it is the most concentrated format available at 321CBD, comparable to CBD crumble (around 92%, dry and crumbly texture) or CBD crystals (99.9%, purest form). Wax sits between classic CBD resin and highly purified concentrates: it retains a natural terpene profile that gives each strain its distinctive aroma.

How to use CBD wax?

CBD wax is exclusively for vaporisation. Use it with a CBD vaporiser fitted with a concentrate chamber (also called a "dab rig" or "wax pen"). Recommended temperature: 180 to 210°C. Lower temperatures (180-190°C) better preserve terpenes for a more aromatic experience. Higher temperatures (200-210°C) deliver a stronger, faster-acting effect. The 1ml syringe enables precise dosing: a typical session uses 0.05 to 0.1ml. At 321CBD, we firmly advise against smoking CBD wax: combustion destroys active cannabinoids and produces the same toxic substances as smoked tobacco.

CBD wax, crumble or crystals: which concentrate to choose?

The three CBD concentrate formats differ in CBD level, texture and use. CBD wax 66% offers a good balance between potency and aromatic richness: the natural terpene profile is still very present, giving a stronger entourage effect than more purified extracts. CBD crumble (92%) goes higher in concentration with a crumbly texture easier to handle in some open-chamber vaporisers.
