CBD flowers: overcoming a problem shared by 70% of French people
Do sleep disorders undermine your daily life and impact your quality of life? You are not the only one. According to Ifop, 7 out of 10 French people are in the same situation. And according to Santé Publique France, we have lost more than an hour and a half of sleep per night in around fifty years.
Beyond fatigue, chronic lack of sleep increases the risk of developing diabetes and certain heart diseases. We must therefore ACT!
In addition to the good practices that we all know such as physical exercise, light dinner and turning off lights and screens, you can count on CBD , a natural cannabinoid found in the hemp plant.
CBD flowers for sleep: science speaks
The soothing and calming properties of cannabidiol will allow you to let go at bedtime and fall into the arms of Morpheus... and science says so:
A clinical trial was carried out on 103 patients who suffer from recurrent insomnia. Result:CBD reduced anxiety scores in 79.2% of participants from the first month, and 66.7 % reported a marked improvement in the quality and quantity of sleep. “All signals point to a calming effect of CBD on the central nervous system,” reads the study report.
A study measured brain activity in patients with REM sleep disorder before and after consuming CBD. Result: CBD reduces the frequency and intensity of symptoms such as talking in sleep and muscle spasms.
CBD flower for sleep: our advice
We have selected for you a range of soothing and relaxing CBD flowers, mainly from the Cannabis Indica strain. The latter is more associated with calming virtues, as opposed to Cannabis L. Sativa, which is stimulating and energizing.
Our CBD for sleeping flowers are full of good non-psychotropic cannabinoids (CBD, but also CBN, CBC and/or CBG) as well as soothing terpenes such as myrcene and linalool.
Are you starting out? Start with a low dose, between 5 and 10 mg of CBD, then gradually increase the dosage depending on how your body responds.
How to consume CBD flowers to sleep?
CBD flowers are relatively versatile products, but we recommend two methods of consumption to sleep better:
The infusion: dilute a small gram of CBD flowers in hot water, and add a fatty substance to promote the absorption of cannabinoids by your body (a little whole milk or vegetable oil). The digestive tract is slow. So be sure to consume your infusion two hours before bedtime;
Vaporization, using a spray for dried flowers. Heat your CBD flower to less than 200°C to avoid combustion which produces harmful particles. The respiratory tract is faster, because cannabinoids reach the bloodstream within minutes. We therefore advise you to vaporize your CBD flower 15 to 30 minutes before bedtime.
Are CBD flowers for sleep legal?
Absolutely. Our online store only offers legal CBD products, in line with the hygiene standards of the National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products (ANSM) and restrictions on THC concentration (less than 0.3%). So you can do your shopping with complete peace of mind.
