Frequently asked questions

Is CBD classified as a narcotic?

No. The UN Single Convention on Narcotics does not list CBD. The Kanavape ruling (CJEU, 19 November 2020) confirmed CBD cannot be considered a narcotic in the sense of this convention. In France and the EU, sale and consumption are free for adults, under purity conditions (THC<0.3%).

What about roadside tests?

Law enforcement uses saliva tests that specifically detect THC. CBD is not sought. For a regulation-compliant product (THC < 0.3%), the test cannot normally be positive under reasonable use conditions. Only exception: very intensive and recent Full Spectrum consumption can leave detectable traces. To eliminate any risk, choose a 0% THC isolate.

I take medications, can I consume CBD?

Vigilance. CBD is metabolised by hepatic cytochrome P450, the same enzyme metabolising about 60% of prescribed medications. It can therefore modify the bioavailability of certain treatments. Does CBD create tolerance?
